Expanding Options with DSLT
We are proud to now offer Voyager™ Direct Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (DSLT), a next-generation laser therapy developed by Alcon for the treatment of open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension.
Like traditional Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT), DSLT targets the eye’s natural drainage system to improve fluid outflow and lower intraocular pressure. However, DSLT uses an advanced non-contact, automated delivery system that applies laser energy through the surface of the eye without a lens. This design enhances comfort and efficiency for many patients.
Both SLT and DSLT are safe, effective options, and your doctor will help determine which approach is best for your specific condition and goals.

What to Expect During the Procedure
After numbing drops are applied, you will remain comfortably seated as the laser system automatically tracks your eye and delivers gentle light pulses around the edge of the cornea to reach the trabecular meshwork, which is the eye’s natural drainage tissue.
The treatment itself takes only seconds, and most patients experience little or no discomfort. Vision may be slightly blurred for a few hours, and your doctor will schedule follow-up visits to monitor your results.
