You don’t need to wear reading glasses any more!
After years of success around the world, in 2015 the FDA approved the KAMRA Inlay procedure in the United States – a procedure that will reduce or eliminate dependence on reading glasses.
Why Near Vision?
Nearly all adults over the age of 40 experience great frustration with near vision, a naturally occurring condition called presbyopia. Presbyopia is a hardening of the eye’s lens, which reduces the eye’s ability to focus on near objects and forces most adults into reading glasses.
The Near Vision Solution
In our eyes, reading glasses just aren’t good enough. At Katzen Eye Group, we believe that a life without glasses is a more free and beautiful life. That’s why we are delighted to offer the KAMRA® Inlay to our patients in Maryland and beyond.
The KAMRA® Inlay is an advanced, minimally invasive surgical procedure to treat presbyopia, and is now available from Katzen Eye Group.
How the KAMRA® Inlay Works
The KAMRA® Inlay sits in the first few layers of the eye, known as the cornea. Smaller and thinner than a contact lens, the inlay is a mini-ring with an opening in the center. Using a pinhole effect, the inlay focuses the light coming into your eye. This restores near vision while maintaining distance vision without blurry zones.
The KAMRA® Inlay has helped thousands restore their near vision and put an end to their dependence on reading glasses.
At Katzen Eye Group, we take great pride in giving our patients the very best in care. This has meant decades of seeking out the most advanced technology and procedures, and committing to offering only the most trusted and accurate vision solutions. The addition of KAMRA® Inlay to our roster of vision correction procedures is an exciting step into the future of vision care.
We look forward to helping you achieve a better vision and live a life without reading glasses.
