Katzen Eye Group offers a new-generation of contact lens - ACUVUE OASYS for Astigmatism

Towson, MD, (May 5, 2008) – Vistakon, Division of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc, is pleased to introduce a new-generation contact lens to the patients of Katzen Eye Group before it goes on the market in late summer. Due to the vast knowledge and experience that Katzen Eye Group provides its patients, it is the only eye care practice in the region to carry this special lens.

Very few optometric practices in the United States have been chosen to participate in this pre-launch. It is important to test the contact lens in real-life trials in order to make sure they are launching a suitable lens for astigmatic wearers. Therefore, Katzen Eye Group patients who have been fitted for these lenses will provide feedback and opinions on this product.

Patients, who experience contact lens dryness in dry challenging environments, spend extended periods of time in front of a computer, whose eyes get tired from long days at work and/ or like to wear their lenses comfortably all day are ideal candidates for this new lens.
